“...Between 12 and 18 there's a sweetness that's part of that age. Everyone is so specifically in that age. Whether they are like Jona's Latin Club Kid or Chess Club Kid, Sophisticated, or whether they are outcasts. Those kids have so much in common. Even if they are the most popular football kids or Cheerleader kids compared to the least popular outsider, they look really similar. I know when you are there it is vastly different. When kids come to adults with problems adults tend to say, "Oh, It'll work out." Because to the parents it's not a big deal. But, when you are there it's as vast as in the adult world - The social structures and such, the way as adults we put on our social differences. They have their own world.”
